In December 2016, three commercial farm enterprises, the Landman Group, Blydevallei Boerdery, and Bavaria Fruit Estates, registered a social enterprise, the Hoedspruit Hub.
As a social enterprise, we endeavour to maximise a positive environmental and social impact alongside profit for our stakeholders. We aim to increase the resilience of commercial farming enterprises in South Africa through in South Africa through accredited and customised training, as well as social development initiatives.
Our start up phase between 2018 and 2021 was funded by a GIZ and the IDC. An impact study of our work was done by Big Mama’s Famous Trust Shop and can be viewed and downloaded here.
As training is our main offering, we add additional value through creating enriched training environments using additional teaching and learning aids that makes learning more fun.
